This is one of the hottest new products to come on the market in years. The CORD DOOR is designed to be installed on a screened enclosure,
pool cage or sun room, to allow an electric extension cord and or garden hose to be passed thru the CORD DOOR. This product is ideal
for anyone having a screened enclosure where the electric outlet or hose faucet located on the inside and there is a need to use it
outside or vice versa.
Prior to the development of this product, the cord / hose would have to be routed thru an entrance door or window. This left the door
partially open, which may allow pets out or insects in. Also, having a cord / hose run thru a doorway presents a tripping hazard or
much worse allowing a metal door to close on a electric extension cord could damage the insulation causing a potentially fatal electrical
hazard. The CORD DOOR eliminates all of these.

THE CORD DOOR
The CORD DOOR is a simple device consisting of a triangular plate which is mounted to the framework of a screen enclosure at a corner.
This plate has a 2" diameter hole for passage of a extension cord and or garden hose. The specially designed cover door then pivots
to cover the hole completely or fits around the extension cord and or garden hose preventing the passage of insects, reptiles or rodents.
The CORD DOOR is made from a architectural grade plastic that is UV resistant and designed for years of outdoor exposure. The plastic
is an excellent insulator which isolates the metal framework of most screen enclosures from having a electric extension cord contact
metal surfaces creating a potentially fatal electrical hazzard. The CORD DOOR can also be painted if
desired (though not required).
All fasteners are stainless steel to prevent corrosion.
Everything is included in the kit for installation except the tools. Installation is simple and should only take the average handyman a few minutes to install.
